This last weekend, Friday July 8th and Saturday July 9th, the class of 1996 celebrated our 20 year high school class reunion. I didn’t think to grab my camera for the festivities on Friday evening, but I did grab it on Saturday to grab a handful of snapshots real quick throughout the day.
Friday night we met at the Cook Muni for a bit of a mixer to just catch up a little. Saturday a handful of us met at the golf course for a day of golf on a super wet and soggy course followed by a dinner there at the course where the rest showed up and the stories and laughter continued.
It really was wonderful to see everyone, many I hadn’t seen or heard from in 20 years, others it’s been a little more recent. I came away from the weekend with a heart full of happiness to be able to spend a little time with everyone but also a bit of regret that I haven’t kept in touch as well as I probably should have. Something I hope to remedy a bit moving forward.
I discovered when I got home that I didn’t take nearly as many photos as I thought I did or as I had planned on because I simply was enjoying the moment and conversations and laughter and often forgot all about the camera! Here are the photos I did make on Saturday, mostly while out golfing and then a bit back before and after dinner.
*All photos shot on a Fuji X100T, in camera jpegs with Classic Chrome film and minimal post processing in Adobe Lightroom.
