There is something to be said about the feeling that minimalism gives, especially in artwork. Lately I’ve been having fun exploring a simpler, more minimal approach to my work. Let’s explore a little!
Minimal, not Minimalized
When say I’ve been really having fun exploring a more minimal approach with my work, I’m not meaning that I’m shooting less or treating it less importantly. I’m talking about simplifying the image, trying to find a way to say more with less if you will.
With that in mind, I had some fun experimenting with this over the brief autumn season this year. I searched for ways to showcase and highlight the spectacular range of colors and moods of the changing leaves. I wish I would have had more time to experiment with it, our autumn season was brutally short this year, but it’s something I want to keep refining and diving deeper into!
Enjoy a few of my favorites and stay on the lookout for more Minimal Vibes as I keep enjoying the process of learning to say more with less!
