Some days, even though the color is popping all around me, I’ll find myself out searching for autumn. Not just the fall colors, but that FEELING of Autumn.
Those moments in which I can feel the seasons changing, can smell it in the air, and can see it in the movement of the forest.
I know, sounds pretty tree hugging hippy-ish.
It’s not. If you’ve grown up with nature, spent real time in the woods, you’ll know those moments I’m talking about. Moments that go deeper than just the leaves changing color.
It’s a true connection to the land around us.
That search for autumn is something I crave all year long.
